Starting today, Seniors Deserve Better campaign billboards have been posted in five high traffic locations across the province:

• Victoria (Pat Bay Hwy & Mt. Newton Cross Road)
• Kamloops (Hwy 5 & Mount Paul Way)
• Vancouver (Clark & Powell)
• Prince George (Hwy 16 & Vance Road)
• Kelowna (Hwy 97 & Westside Road)

If you see them, I encourage you to take photos and post them on social media with a link to our campaign site.

As you know, seniors’ care has been suffering as a result of the lack of funding. With our rapidly aging population, we need our government to address the needs of our changing demographic.

Maybe you have a parent or someone you love who receives home support. Maybe you know of someone who does. You want them to receive the very best care possible.

That’s why it is critical that we keep the momentum going. Help us spread the word about our campaign!

P.S. -- Home support is the most cost-efficient way to take care of seniors and people with physical disabilities. That, coupled with the fact that BC’s seniors’ population has increased by four per cent in just the last year means that now, more than ever, we need to pressure the provincial government to increase funding levels for home support. Seniors deserve better.
