Community Social Services

BCGEU is the largest union representing community-based social service workers in British Columbia. These caring professionals help and support the most vulnerable members of our communities, including youth at risk, women, people with disabilities, immigrants, First Nations, and many others. Community social service workers are employed in community-based non-for-profit societies and other organizations contracted by the provincial government to provide these services.
